02Is it free?

Yes. The library, 3D view, search, family sharing and exports are free. Photo scanning and the assistant use your own OpenAI key: you pay OpenAI directly for what you use, with no markup from us.
03Does it handle Arabic books?

Yes. The interface is available in Arabic (right to left), French and English, scanning reads calligraphic Arabic spines, and search ignores harakat, tatweel and alif and ya variants.
04Do you store my fingerprint or face?

No. Passkeys use your device’s authenticator. Our server only receives a public key and a signature, never a biometric image or template.
05Can the AI give the exact page?

Only when a table of contents with page numbers has been recorded for that edition. Otherwise it names the book or chapter and says the page is not verified.
06Can you show my OpenAI balance?

No. A standard API key does not expose the exact balance. We check that the key works and show estimated usage, never a balance.
07Is my library public?

No. Everything you add stays private, visible only to you and the people you invite. Private pages are excluded from search engines.
